Homemade cleaning products without chemicals

Even the most common ingredients you store in the house – vinegar, salt, hydrogen peroxide – can turn into effective cleaning products. Try the recipes below! Now you can clean your house without using chemicals.

Hydrogen peroxide disinfects the toilet
You can use hydrogen peroxide to disinfect the toilet. Pour 200 ml of water in a pan, add 200 ml of hydrogen peroxide and mix thoroughly. For a pleasant smell, put 5 drops of essential oil. Using a sponge, clean the entire surface of the toilet bowl and let the solution work for 10-15 minutes.

Baking soda cleans the floor
In the case of hard-to-remove stains, you can use a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Apply in the stained area and let it work for a few minutes, then wash well with a clean sponge. The same solution is effective for eliminating unpleasant odors in the home.

Essential oils refresh the air
You need double refined alcohol, distilled water (plain water) and a few drops of essential oils. Mix 60 ml of alcohol, 20 ml of water, 10 drops of essential orange oil, 10 drops of essential lavender oil. Leave the mixture in a dark place, well-sealed, away from light, for 2 weeks while mixing it from time to time. Then you use it to refresh the air, puffing the whole house.

Lemon juice removes greasy stains
For greasy stains like those from inside the microwave, you need an efficient and fast solution. Mix in a glass jar 2 cups of water and 1/4 cup of lemon juice. Place the jar in the oven and heat for 8-10 minutes. The steam will disintegrate the grease particles from the oven walls and, in the end, you will be able to clean it easily with a sponge.

Wine vinegar removes mold
Due to the antimicrobial properties of vinegar, it’s very effective in removing mold. Pour vinegar in a spray container, apply into the mold area and let it work for an hour. Then wipe with a wet cloth. You can also add essential oil to cover the strong smell.

Table salt absorbs fat
Table salt is effective in cleaning the surfaces where grease has been impregnated. It also acts as a disinfectant. Place the salt on the affected surfaces, leave for 10-15 minutes and then clean with a wet cloth. It is important to clean well and then wipe with a dry cloth until the surface is perfectly dry.
