Surprising Ways To Stop Hiccups

Hiccups are an involuntary and convulsive contraction of the diaphragm – the muscle involved in breathing, that separates the chest from the abdomen – accompanied by a sound, short and repeated. It does not last longer than a few minutes and discomfort goes away by itself or with a little help.

1. Mix tablespoon of dill seed with a tablespoon of cold water and leave to soak for ten minutes. Add 150 ml of warm water, let them a few minutes. Strain the mixture and drink slowly, with rare sips, well drooled, three or four times a day.

2. Mix a teaspoon of caraway seeds with water. Swallow this mixture once per day in the morning on an empty stomach.

3. Prepare a mixture of 80 grams of lemon balm (citronella) and 20 grams of valerian. Prepare an infusion of two teaspoons of this mixture in a cup of boiling water (brew for 10-15 minutes). Drink this and you will get rid of hiccups immediately!
